Children
At Mt. Zion we provide a safe fun environment for your children to learn about God & the Bible. Each Sunday we provide age appropriate Sunday School Classes during the Bible Study Hour (9:15am).
Our Children’s/Youth Sunday School classes are divided into 4 classes (0-3 yrs, Pre-K through 1st grade, 2nd through 5th grade, and 6th-12th grade).
Additionally, we have Children’s Church and extended session for children during the Sunday Service on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month and Nursery (0-3 yrs) available every week.
AWANA
AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) is a fun, Bible saturated night your kids will love. Kids will have fun with friends while learning the Bible. AWANA is offered during the school year. Learn more here.
Youth
180 youth is designed to “turn students to Christ, so they can return and change the world”. We feature a Sunday night program for High School and Middle School students (6th-12th grade), and provide a place to come and worship. Check our youth page for more details and events.
Family Life
Family Life is a ministry for families with children at home, designed to plug you in with other adults in a similar life stage. Our goals are to create opportunities for fellowship, provide support for each other, and equip ourselves for the sacred task of parenting.
Family Life has luncheons in the CLC every 2nd Sunday, following the service. This gives us the space and safety for our children to run around and play while we fellowship together.
Bible Study
We believe that the Bible is vital for a healthy Christian life. There is a Sunday School class for everyone, designed with the family in mind. Additionally, women’s Bible Study occurs each year. During the school year, we meet Wednesdays at 6:30p for more in-depth Bible and Doctrinal Study.
For more info on women’s Bible/Book study and our Wednesday night schedule, contact the church office.
Missions
We believe strongly that God has called us to be on mission everyday. As a church we partner with our denominational mission organizations: The North American Mission Board and The International Mission Board. More directly we work on a number of mission projects:
- Master’s Builders – A hammer and nails ministry that seeks to serve the local church.
- Works of Grace – WOG leads teams internationally from Mt. Zion.
- Food Kitchen – We want to help those who need it most both spiritually and physically.
