Worship
Sunday Morning Service
Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am for a time of dedicated prayer, song and study of God’s Holy Word. Fellowship together with believers as we come before our God as a gathering of of the Body of Christ.
We serve communion quarterly and practice open communion, welcoming professing and baptized believers to join us in the rememberance of our Savior’s body and blood.
Midweek Service
We believe that the Bible is vital for a healthy Christian life. Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm as we study various topics in God’s Word. Check the foyer or contact the Church office for information about the topics.
Children
Sunday Morning Ministries
At Mt. Zion we provide a safe and fun environment for your children to learn about God & His Word, the Bible. Each Sunday we provide age-appropriate classes during the Sunday School Hour (9:15am-10:15).
Our Children’s/Youth Sunday School classes are divided into 4 classes (0-3 yrs, Pre-K through 1st grade, 2nd through 5th grade, and 6th-12th grade).
Children’s Church and Extended Session are ministries for children (Pre-K through 5th grade) that take place during the Sunday Morning service on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
Nursery (0-3 yrs) is available every week.
AWANA
AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) is a Bible-saturated Sunday night ministry. Kids will have fun with friends while studying and memorizing God’s Word. AWANA is offered during the school year. Learn more here.
180 Youth
180 youth is designed to “turn students to Christ, so they can return and change the world”. We host a Sunday night meeting for High School and Middle School students (6th-12th grade) where we play games, eat food and worship the Lord through song, prayer and the study of His Word. Check our youth page for more details and events.
Families
Family Life
Family Life is a Ministry for families with children still at home that connects you with other christian adults in the same life stage. We strive to foster Christian fellowship, develop Christ-like love for one another, and to equip parents for the sacred task of parenting.
Family Life has luncheons in the CLC each month, usually following a Sunday morning service. This gives us the space and safety for our children to run around and play while we fellowship together. Check the bulletin or call the church office to get more information or find out when the next luncheon takes place
Missions
God has called every Christian to “go into all the world to preach the gospel.” As a church we directly support several missions orginizations and individual missionaries both domestically and internationally. Additionally, we have a number of missions groups that we send out from our own body:
- Master’s Builders – A hammer-and-nails ministry that seeks to serve churches and Christian missions across the US.
- Works of Grace – An international missions group that partners with specific missionaries to send teams of church members to perform skilled labor on short-term missions trips.
- Food Kitchen – A ministry that partners with local shelters and kitchens to provide food for people in need.
